Oh, Carmel and Monterey are so bea...Dearest Astrid,
Oh, Carmel and Monterey are so beautiful and I'm so glad you both got to see that too.
My very first visit to San Francisco was with miniature dachshund Mauzie. She flew with us to several states in her two years that she lived with us in the USA.
BUT I had bad luck as the cable cars were being repared that first time... Did not get to see them. Only later we could ride them and of course also with my Dad!
Flying west bound is always the easiest on your system. Flying back home, going east bound is harder. It is natural to wake up early as you are 9 hours difference in time.
Wishing you a lovely weekend and so glad you did jot down info daily on your iPad. That really does bring memories back to life. We have kept a diary since 1983 and till the end of 2004. Now with digital photos you have the date but not the place where it was taken. I still have to do quite a task in making all our photos etc. digital and categorizing them. Only then I can write my complete story... One day! Daily chores of home and garden take so much time. Socializing some and gone is another 'short' week. My ONLY complaint of life at present is that time goes way too fast!!! Serious...
A big hug to you,
MarietteMariette VandenMunckhof-Vedderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877699174880945452noreply@blogger.com
